Iain was born in the United Kingdom where he went to university to study Engineering and Russian.

Since graduating, he has worked as a Project Manager and Team Leader for more 30 years in Russia and Ukraine. He is a practised bilingual manager of people and systems, specialising in programme delivery and change management. His career in Corporate Administration in international organisations, focusing on trade, development and education has given him an extensive network and a thorough understanding of how to get things done in the region.

Iain built professional and academic networks between Ukraine and the United Kingdom, managed multimillion development programmes in Russia and Ukraine, he manages his own businesses and maintains links with education and training to bring benefit to the two countries he calls home - Ukraine and the UK.

I’m Igor Potievsky - husband and father of two adorable children; founder and partner of an advertising business in Ukraine, which is in the TOP10 of local advertising agencies by IAB. Since the beginning of the war, I have made every effort to help the Military Forces of Ukraine, volunteer organizations and people around me. Today, the whole of Ukraine needs help, and the large number of volunteer organizations and foundations will not be able to meet all the needs of ordinary citizens and the Military Forces of Ukraine . So my partners and I decided to set up a charity foundation to help those military units and citizens who (have been left unattended and who) still need our help and support.

I gained experience working with volunteer foundations and NGOs back in 2004, when I started working as a manager in the Coalition for Freedom of Choice, creating projects to build transparency in electoral processes in Ukraine, working with Renaissance Charity Foundations, NDI (National Democratic Institute). IRI (International Republican Institute) and USAID. After the establishment of the public organization Wave of Freedom, and later the political party PORA, I left my public activities and moved to the business sector, where I began my career as a marketeer and entrepreneur. Business is something that you can influence here and now and not depend on the desires and goals of other politically engaged people with whom you do not agree. To strengthen my knowledge in business, in 2019 I enrolled to the Stockholm School of Economics and received an MBA degree in 2021.

This is our country, I was born and raised here, so it is my duty to help our State, as well as our Military, in difficult times. Over the years in business, I have created my own agency, formed a team of professionals and learned to see people and their motives in depth. And 18 years later, with the start of a full-scale war in Ukraine, I realised that my business experience and experience in public organisations can help my country overcome difficulties and accelerate our victory.
